The first reason of its importance is that Jasidih is the centre point in Jharkhand between Bihar and West Bengal And Howrah-Delhi main line.So, Jasidih junction is developed in a grand railway station because about all train between Bihar and WB passes through this Jasidih junction.

And a important thing that you will probably get direct trains from here to all over the India.All trains are useful for people but the most no. of trains from here are for :-jasidih to patna train,jasidih to asansol train,jasidih to patna,jasidih to deoghar

The other importance of Jasidih junction{JSME} or Jasdih station is that it is situated in Deoghar and as you all know that Deoghar is a holy palace and lots and lots of people come here  to visit and worship
Baba Baithyanath temple,Baithyanathdham.
The distance of Jasidih from Deoghar is about 8km.Due to this reason the pilgrims who come to worship Baba Baithyanath from far palaces come to Jasidih and from jasdih station they come  to deoghar by autorikshaw or local trains of Jasidih to  Deoghar.

Another reason of its importance is that Jasidih is well connected by road to local district including Dumka,Giridih,Dhanbad,Godda,Bhagalpur,Jamui and Banka.
